Mountain Brauhaus, 430 Winter Clove Road, Round Top, NY 12473. ---While you're in the Catskills stop in at the Mountain Brauhaus and enjoy some German specialities like Sauerbraten, Kassler Ripchen, and more. Decorated with a quintessential German feel, the Mountain Brauhaus is a great place to visit and have dinner.

Bavarian Manor, 866 Mountain Avenue, Purling, NY 12470. ---Another great restaurant offering German specialties is the Bavarian Manor located in the Catskills. Try one of their many German dishes like Rouladen, Holsteiner Schnitzel, Jaeger Schnitzel, or Sauerbraten.

Gus's Tavern, New Windsor, NY. --- Gus's Tavern is a family owned German / American Restaurant serving the Hudson Valley NY for four generations.  

Centrally located between Newburgh, Cornwall and New Windsor Gus's Tavern is the perfect spot to begin a special evening, host a business meeting or celebrate a special occasion.

The food is so delicious and inventive and lovers of German food, real German food, will rejoice.  All of your German favorites and then some will be on this menu. Wursts are house made. Chef Jeremy Nolan brings his passion and knowledge of German cooking to Brauhaus Schmitz. He's also author of the cookbook, New German Cooking, which is due out in January 2015. Do yourself a favor and order dessert here. Jessica Nolen, Chef Nolan's wife, is the amazing pastry chef at Brauhaus Schmitz. 

Grünauer, Kansas City, MO --- Located in the heart of Kansas City, MO, this restaurant reflects the owner's Austrian roots. Offering a wonderful selection of authentic German food, you won't be disappointed. Desserts are equally delicious and include house made apple strudel which is the real deal.
